COMING SOON!

Exciting changes to the Juniors program for 2024/25!

  • For our 2017 and 2018 age groups we will now offer TWO pathways for our Juniors. Players will either be offered a place on one of our U8 teams and compete in the local Development League (DL) or be offered a place on a team in our new Juniors Development League (JDL).
  • The JDL is an evolution of our Festival Fives and is being introduced to help prepare our Juniors to take the next steps on their soccer journey. Any players invited to participate in the JDL will be working towards getting ready for supplemental tryouts at the end of the fall, at which point they may move up to play in the DL in the spring of 2025, or may continue in the JDL for one more season.
  • More info on the JDL will be released internally for existing players before tryouts, as well as being made public on this page.
  • Our current Future Stars and Fun Fours groups will remain in place as we prepare our younger Juniors for both of these pathways.

Juniors offers programming for boys and girls aged 3-7 years across the Greater Cincinnati area on a year-round basis.

This is seen as a great first stepping stone to joining the CU & CUP family.

What they say about us

Joe Appel, January 2024 on program director, Claire Wellington:

"My name is Joe Appel and my son William has done CU Juniors in the fall and now futsal and the winter training. I played for CUP many, many years ago and then the University of Dayton. I only say this because I have been around soccer for a while.

I can’t overstate how impressed I have been with Claire and the program she runs. She has been an incredibly caring and kind person, while also being an excellent teacher of the game. She does a good job of keeping things moving, but also teaching skills.

I just thought you guys should know what a good job she does and I think is a really valuable asset to Cincinnati United."
