Blake Decker, Cincinnati United CEO:

“Reece is the perfect choice to lead the CUP Boys Program and serves as a reflection of our goal to provide a pathway, not only for players, but also for coaches and staff who demonstrate excellence in their craft and live the mission, vision and values of our club. Reece is a tremendously talented young coach and leader whose humility and work ethic are well known both inside and outside of Cincinnati United.

As Hands officially begins in his new role on January 1, 2024, the following Cincinnati United Boys structural evolution will include:

Scott Bower: Director of Soccer (CU and CUP boys)

Reece Hands: CUP Boys Technical Director (U11-U19 CUP Boys)

Age Group Directors

U11-U14: Manoj Khettry & Reece Hands

U15-U19: Nedim Gracanin & Scott Stockum

Boys Director of Soccer Scott Bower expressed his excitement over Reece’s promotion, stating:

“At Cincinnati United, it is important that we look to add soccer leaders from outside our market to add quality and unique experience to our staff. Even more importantly it is vital to have developmental pathways for our current high performing coaches and directors. We are proud of our many former coaches moving on to coach in professional and college environments. That said, we are equally, if not more, excited when a forward-thinking, young, energetic director who aligns directly with our club’s core values is tapped to serve as a club leader. Reece will lead the CUP Boys program forward and take us all to greater heights.”

Cincinnati United Soccer Club is the most competitive club in the tri-state area of Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. The club currently fields 200+ teams of over 2,700 players. For more information on the club go to here.
